Progressive Nudists Obama's VP selection
| Any thoughts on who Obama will choose as his VP? Personally, I'd like it to be Kathleen Sebelius, Kansas' governor. That may help push a few red states to the blue column, and help with Hillary supporters - especially women supporters. However, I've also heard Tim Kaine, Virginia's governor (another guy with Kansas-area ties - he grew up in the KC area and attended Rockhurst High School), as a more likely possibility. He'd also be a good choice. | |
| Well, he's not going with my pick, James Webb, and I'm clueless otherwise. I guess Edwards is right out of it, although he was my fav to head the ticket before the primaries demonstrated that he wasn't going to get very far. Any chance of either of the tickets having someone who is all right with naturism? If I could ask Omaba one question, it would be "When you were in HI, did you ever get up the Na Pali coast?" | |
| Webb is on record saying that he's not interested in being Obama's VP. He further said that, at this time, he's more useful to this country serving Virginia in the Senate. As for naturist friendly running mates on the tickets, all I know is that we can forget that happening ever on the Republican ticket. The GOP has been very gung-ho about putting a stop to naturism in this country. Just ask our favorite former Congressman - and pedophile - Mark Foley. | |
| I was just watching Olbermann this evening, and he mentioned that Joe Biden is the frontrunner for VP. The shortlist includes Indiana Senator Evan Bayh and the aforementioned Governors Kaine and Sebelius. I guess we'll find out for sure later this week. | |

| I've got to make this one quick: McCain picked as his running mate Alaska Governor (and former beauty queen) Sarah Palin, who has as much VP cred as MICHAEL Palin from Monty Python (who, being British, can't be VP). | |

| You should have seen Olbermann this evening. He destroyed the myth around Palin. I agree that her views are very similar to Bush and Cheney. Like Cheney, can we expect her to survive multiple heart attacks, shoot someone in the face, and tell a Democratic Senator to "go f^&* yourself"? |
