When your spouse is not a nudist My family wouldn't understand nudism
| My mom gets it. My husband has discovered it. The kids are adopting the idea...why are we mortified to tell my in-laws? I'd rather them stumble across the website than have to tell them face to face that I have "corrupted" their son. I don't feel that way, I helped open his eyes, but they'll see the woman who defiled and brainwashed their little boy. Of course, the "Cleavers" would never say that, but it would be the pink elephant we tiptoed around at Sunday dinner. Who's had to have the "coming out of the nude closet" talk? | |
| i love Roq's first line "I think its really great someone else has this problem" Really?????? ( I know what you meant though) My mother-in-law would be fine with it, just never really came up. My father-in-law would be really weird about it though so we don't tell him. My mom & sisters know, my dad doesn't. He wouldn't get it either although he wouldn't oppose it. just wouldn't get it. Never really thought about the outside family, its not "hidden" its just "don't ask, don't tell" hmmmm....points to ponder | |

| My mother is respectful and understanding about my lifestyle. She says that if you are happy that is most important. My friends know the kind of person I am and do not think any different of me because I am a nudist. I do believe in being respectful to others. if they are not bothered by my being nude, then i will be nude. However I will not run the risk of offending anyone. However i feel that is we go nude without any respect to others feelings, then we are being no different than the up tight people who criticixe us and think we are wacky. We should be proud of our lifestyle and educate others about it. The more people who experience nudism and see how wonderful the people are and how great a lifestyle it is, the more accepted our way of life will be. | |
| I am glad that these discussions have been liberating for some of you. It has been a liberating month in my home as well. My husband beacame nude in public and on camera; kids became nude at home; mom and Marshall got over the weirdness...It's a lot for everyone to take in. these posts have helped here as well, even though we've passed the milestone, encouragement keeps up the morale. Thanks to all of you too |
