|Let's talk some more about Spirit Airlines, bags, toilets and fees|
1. TripAdvisor.com did an online poll Wednesday to ask people about Spirit Airlines' plans to charge for carry-on bags beginning Aug. 1.
Not surprisingly, the 1,750-plus respondents in the non-scientific poll didn't like the idea: 91 percent said they wouldn't pay a fee for a carry-on bag.
2. The American Association for Nude Recreation suggest that you don't pack any clothes to go on a trip.
"To avoid added baggage stress as you embark upon a vacation, whose purpose is to de-stress and rejuvenate you, plan a Nakation - a vacation to a nudist resort!" AANR executive director Erich Schuttauf said.
"All you'll need for the week (sunscreen, cap, sunglasses, shoes and toiletries) can fit in a small carry on that will fit under the seat, avoiding even carry on bag fees," he said.
3. The TravelMail area of the Daily Mail in England, reported Tuesday that Irish carrier Ryanair is moving ahead with its plan to put pay toilets on its Boeing aircraft.
TravelMail quotes Ryanair spokeman Stephen McNamara:
"By charging for the toilets we are hoping to change passenger behaviour so that they use the bathroom before or after the flight. That will enable us to remove two out of three of the toilets and make way for at least six extra seats on board."
Ryanair is looking at a fee of a pound ($1.53) or euro ($1.34), whichever you have on you.
Ryanair first broached this idea last year. Many thought it was just a publicity-seeking joke.

|I second the AANR response!|
